First Home Buyers Eligibility
From Monday, 2 March 2009, the Office of State Revenue (OSR) is introducing Proof of Identity (POI) requirements for First Home Plus (FHP) applicants.
The POI requirements for FHP are the same as those in place for applicants for the First Home Owners Grant Scheme.
A new FHP Application Form and Lodgement Guide, a new First Home Benefits fact sheet, and a new First Home Benefits - Proof of Identity Documents fact sheet are available on the OSR Website.
Until 19 April 2009, OSR will accept either the current FHP application form (without POI requirements met) or the new FHP application form (with POI requirements met) for processing. From 20 April 2009, only the new FHP application form, with POI requirements met, will be accepted.
