Vincent Goldrick

Vin Goldrick brings over 40 years of legal experience to the firm, having begun his career in the NSW court system before becoming a solicitor. He has a broad background spanning property, probate, litigation, and regulatory law, and currently advises private, corporate, and government clients on both transactional and litigated matters.
Vin has a particular interest in toxic torts and regularly represents NSW statutory authorities and managed insurance funds in complex litigation. He has appeared before various courts and tribunals, contributed to high profile inquiries such as the Special Commission into the James Hardie Group, and led legal audits for large organisations.
As the founding partner of the firm, Vin played a key role in establishing Goldrick Farrell Mullan and expanding its network of offices and consultant lawyers across Sydney. He remains closely involved in the direction of the firm and welcomes new client enquiries to ensure the right legal expertise is matched to each matter.

David Farrell
Principal - B.Com (Hons) LL.B
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION, EMPLOYMENT LAW & INSURANCE LAW
David is a senior litigation lawyer with over 40 years' experience, recognised for his great expertise in insurance and commercial disputes. He regularly represents clients in complex matters before the Supreme and District Courts of NSW, Dust Diseaes Tribunal of NSW, Federal Court of Australia, and courts in other Australian states.
David has acted for insurers, major corporations, as well as small and medium businesses and individuals. He is particularly skilled in interpreting indemnity and insurance clauses and advising on risk mitigation through proactive legal audits.
Known for his strategic, commercially-minded approach, David focuses on early dispute resolution where possible, but leads a robust litigation team when court proceedings are necessary. He also advises on employment matters, including contracts and redundancy.
Based in Sydney, David consults across all firm offices and is committed to delivering practical legal solutions with clear business value.

Christina Dawson
Special Counsel - B.A. (Psychology) LLB (Hon)
ESTATE PLANNING, NOTARIAL, PROBATE & FAMILY
Chrissy is a Special Counsel and mainly practises in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills & Probate, and Litigation. She is also a team member of the firm’s Family Law practice group.
Chrissy completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at Macquarie University in 2003 and was admitted as a solicitor in July that year.
Known for her clear, compassionate advice, Chrissy helps clients navigate emotionally complex matters with confidence. She is particularly skilled in complex estate disputes and high-conflict family law matters, where careful strategy and sensitivity are essential.
Chrissy is also a Notary Public, a specialised legal role that allows her to formally witness and certify documents for international use. As one of the select professionals in New South Wales authorised to carry out notarial acts, she brings added value to clients needing documents recognised overseas.
Chrissy is based at our Sydney head office and sees clients at our Chatswood interview rooms and other braches by appoinment. She is available for telephone consultations to discuss the full range of legal services offered by the firm. For clients who are unable to attend due to disability or illness, she can arrange home or hospital visits by appointment.

Janet Lazzaro

Janet is a senior member of the Insurance Law and Litigation Groups at Goldrick Farrell Mullan. After her initial degrees in Applied Biomedical Science and Psychology, she studied Law at the University of New South Wales and has been in legal practice since 1999. In 2010, she completed a Master of Laws at the University of Sydney.
Janet has extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution, having represented clients in all major NSW courts and tribunals for over 25 years. She has worked alongside leading practitioners in the profession and brings a strategic and results-driven approach to every matter.
In 2004, she undertook a secondment from Goldrick Farrell Mullan to Macquarie Bank, where she worked in the Banking and Property Group. There, she assisted with loan documentation, securitisation, and in-house legal advisory work.
Janet began her legal career with Goldrick Farrell Mullan in February 1999. Before becoming a solicitor, she worked as a scientist at Prince Henry Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital — giving her a unique analytical perspective in legal practice.
She is based at the firm’s Sydney Head Office and is also available for appointments at other branches.
Clients value her attention to detail, calm professionalism, and ability to resolve even the most complex matters efficiently and with care.

Gail Sherlock
Consultant - LLB (Hon) GradDip AusLaw
FAMILY LAW LAW, ESTATE PLANNING & PROBATE
Gail Sherlock is a Consultant Solicitor with a focus on Family Law, Estate Planning & Wills & Probate.
She obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of London in 2002, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Australian Law from the University of Technology Sydney in 2003. Gail was admitted as a solicitor in February 2004.
Gail is based at our Sydney Head Office and is available to meet clients at our Hornsby, Central Coast and Sydney offices offices, as well as at our Chatswood interview rooms. She is available for telephone consultations and, by appointment, can arrange home or hospital visits for clients who are unable to travel due to illness or disability.
With a deep understanding of the emotional challenges that often accompany family law and estate matters, Gail considers it a privilege to assist clients through difficult times, whether following the death of a loved one or the breakdown of a relationship. Her approach is compassionate and pragmatic, offering realistic, reliable, and cost-effective legal advice tailored to each client’s situation.

Evy Price
Consultant

Evy brings a wealth of experience across a diverse array of legal matters. Her practice encompasses advising clients on the sale and purchase of residential properties, including strata units, apartment complexes, commercial sites, off-the-plan developments, and retirement village contracts. Additionally, Evy possesses a robust background in leasing, Wills and probate, as well as litigation.
Evy's legal journey began at the University of Western Sydney, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2010. She was subsequently admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2011. While completing her legal studies, Evy honed her skills as a legal clerk, later advancing her career as a solicitor at Goldrick Farrell Mullan Lawyers. Here, she developed a broad understanding of various legal issues. Evy continues her association with the firm as a consultant solicitor, contributing her knowledge and expertise to complex legal challenges.
Through her comprehensive experience and dedication, Evy Price provides her clients with insightful legal guidance tailored to their individual needs.

Gabrielle Ellis
Associate - BCom LLB(Hon)

Gabby is an Associate with a focused practice in property law, property development, leasing, and estate planning. She also regularly advises on probate and estate administration matters, offering strategic guidance across a range of client needs.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce (Honours) in 2018 and was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in July 2019 and to the High Court of Australia in October 2019.
With a client-focused approach and a deep knowledge of the real estate industry, Gabby is known for her precision, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. She has acted on complex property transactions and major developments, advising individuals, private developers, government authorities, and lending institutions.

Abbie Sheahan
Law Graduate - BCom LLB

Abbie completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources) and Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie University in 2025 and will shortly beadmitted to practice law in New South Wales.
She began her legal career as a law clerk, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of practice areas before progressing to her current role as a Graduate Lawyer. This pathway has given her a strong foundation in legal practice and a clear understanding of the real-world challenges clients face. Abbie has worked across Family Law, Estate Planning, and Personal Injury, and has developed particular interests in Estate Planning and Dust Disease litigation.
Abbie is recognised for her strategic mindset, critical thinking, and client-focused approach. She combines professionalism with empathy, ensuring that clients feel heard and supported while receiving clear, practical advice. She is skilled in managing sensitive family disputes, guiding vulnerable clients through difficult circumstances, and navigating complex litigation with precision.
