Janet Lazzaro is a senior member of the Insurance Law and Litigation Groups of Goldrick Farrell Mullan. 

She studied Applied Biomedical Science and Arts/Law at the University of NSW and has been in practice since 1999.  She completed her Master of Laws at Sydney University in 2010. 

Janet has experience in a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution after working with Partners David Farrell and David Knaap for over 20 years representing clients in all major NSW courts and tribunals. 

She mainly practises in the areas of Commercial Litigation including contract disputes, Trade Practices, insolvency, intellectual property litigation, building and construction litigation, commercial lease disputes, mortgage disputes and disputed Wills. 

She was chosen for a secondment from Goldrick Farrell Mullan to Macquarie Bank from 19 January 2004 to 23 August 2004. At Macquarie Bank she worked in the Banking and Property Group assisting in the loan documentation and securitisation and providing in-house legal advice. 

Janet began her career with Goldrick Farrell Mullan in February 1999. Prior to becoming a solicitor her early employment was as a Scientist at the Prince Henry Hospital and then Prince of Wales Hospital. 

She is based at the firm’s Sydney Head Office and also attends other branch offices to meet clients.
