Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is a legal document that gives another person or organisation the power to deal with your assets and financial affairs while you are still alive.

The person you appoint to look after your financial and legal affairs must be responsible and act in your best interests.

A Power of Attorney can be revoked or cancelled at any time as long as you still have mental capacity.

If you would like to discuss granting a Power of Attorney, contact us now for advice.

Enduring Guardianship

An Enduring Guardian is someone you choose to make personal and lifestyle decisions on your behalf when you are not capable of doing this for yourself.

If you would like to discuss the appointment of an enduring guardian, contact us now for advice.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Preparation of Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring Guardianship.

  • Representation before the Guardianship Tribunal

  • Liaising with Financial Managers and Trustees
